This adoption pack works with People's Trust for Endangered Species (PTES), a registered charity that helps giraffes in Africa by conserving their habitat and working to collect data on populations. Your 12-month adoption of will make a valuable contribution to the protection of these beautiful animals, and is a wonderful gift for any giraffe enthusiasts.

This tin is brimming with facts and figures about giraffes in the wild as well as a poster and postcard. Additionally, after following the simple online registration, you will receive a personalised supporter certificate.

How long do I have to register my gift? You need to register your gift before the ‘register by’ date on the back of your tin sleeve. We recommend that you register your gift as soon as possible. How long does my adoption last? Your adoption lasts for 12 months from the date of registration. How long does it take for me to receive my certificate? These will be dispatched within 28 days receipt of your registration details. Occasionally, factors outside of Gift Republic’s control may affect delivery times. Can I visit the giraffes? Unfortunately not. Because the giraffes are protected and due to the nature of the conservation projects, it is not possible to visit the giraffes. Part of the conservation effort of PTES is to ensure that the giraffes maintain their natural behaviour in their natural habitat. This requires minimum disturbance to their natural environment.

The charity does not just concentrate its efforts on one particular species. If for any reason your chosen project is unavailable, the charity reserves the right to allocate the donation wherever they feel the need is greatest.
